1. AJISAI

This is a seasonal sweet and it looks very beautiful !!

The name of this sweet “AJISAI” is the name of flower ( Japanese hydrangea ) as follow.

The beauty of this flower is expressed in this sweet with great craft.

It has a soft sweet flavor. This sweet is made of “SHIROAN ( white bean paste )” covered with “KANTEN ( jelly based vegetarian gelatin )”.

 

2. MITARASHI – DANGO

This is chewy & very delicious !! sweetish flavor.

Mitarashi dango is a type of dango (sweet made from rice flour) covered with a sweet soy sauce glaze.” [ Excerpt from Wikipedia ]

 

3. MAME DAIFUKU

This is the most popular sweet in this shop !!

Mame daifuku is a Japanese confection consisting of a small round mochi (glutinous rice cake) and azuki (red mung bean).” [ Excerpt from Wikipedia ]

By the way, “daifuku” means “great luck” in Japanese.
